After last week, I can officially say: I highly recommend Mark Bittman's cookbook, How to Cook Everything Fast. The soup we made was just okay, but the other 4 recipes were fantastic!
Here's what's on the docket this week:
Soup: Winter Minestrone with Garlic Bruschetta ( Barefoot Contessa: Foolproof)
Note: I don't love the butternut squash, so I used a potato or 2 instead. I also cut the noodles in half, as it's already a pretty thick soup.

This winter minestrone looks delicious too.
*This is one of my favorite winter-time recipes, but I know not everyone loves veal, and it can be controversial. I've made this many times, and can assure you that it's just as good with chicken!

Hi! Long time reader, first time commenter! ;)
I want to say that I made the chicken with roasted peppers and coconut rice recipe the week before last and it was a big hit! Thanks for the ideas! Hope you're fab! xo, A
Those chicken Parm meatballs are SO GOOD. You're going to love them (if they're new to your repertoire). So will the Hulk. :)
Annette! So glad you liked it. I make that every other week, I think. I figure meal planning here will help me mix things up a bit. :)
